Advanced Driving Techniques (full day; includes On-Road Evaluations + closed course training)

The objectives of the IN-CONTROL Advanced Driving Technique program is to build and reinforce advanced driving techniques through proper instruction and practical repetition.

These advanced driving techniques teach drivers how to avoid and/or handle emergency situations, which in turn allows them to become more confident in everyday driving situations. 

Drivers will learn advanced techniques and how critical elements ultimately affect traction and, therefore, the vehicles' behavior. Themes covered are;

• Driver skills: Knowledge, Attitude, Concentration, Anticipation, Discipline, Human factor & vision, Fatigue and stress, etc.
• Vehicle dynamics involved in driving: Weight transfers, Balance, Tire Contact Surfaces, Understeer / Oversteer, etc.
• Emergency actions:Threshold braking, Proper cornering techniques, Collision avoidance, Driving with finesse.
• New technology in modern vehicles: Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Stability Programs (ESP), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), etc.
